I can't find the actual problem . if you are connecting using VPN with this option configured, then connect to connection server. Error: You don't have JavaScript enabled. However it only affected my test Windows 8 clients which were previously working. This is RDSH server farm with 3 RDSH server on one farm. The only thing that has changed was I had been applying and testing the CIS benemarks for Windows 8 in some new GPOs I had created, it had to be those what had broken it, so I set out trying to find which setting. All user trying to connect by PCoIP. I'm looking into the link and video now to check if I missed anything there. IHAC who is not able to access the VDI environment from the internet using balst. Check the Windows Registry of the guest operating system (such as the RDS host where View Agent is installed). We will take RDP to the network in US via VPN.

The way you have set it up now the client need to be able to resolve the hostname of the Virtual Desktop and I guess this is not resolving properly and you get no connection, if you configure it as above then all traffic will go through the connection-broker and there will be no direct connection between the client and the virtual desktop. Still for testing we use Ips, for production we may use FQDN. i changed these option, 1)Enabled:PCoIP Secure Gateway , Use PCoIP secure Gateway for PCoIP connection to desktop ( Connection Server settings. C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\VMware\VDM\logs. PCOIP works fine. The Security-server actually have nothing todo with the PCoIP Secure Gateway. Everything works great inside the LAN, but when trying to access our security server outside the LAN the client connects, validates credentials, allows you to choose a desktop and connects to it, but then closes and simply says: 'The connection to the remote computer ended.' In 99% of cases this is usually due to missing firewall rules between the View Client (thick/thin client) and the View Agent (virtual desktop).

My guess is that when you connect  to security server through VPN and try to launch desktop, the ExternalURL provided by connectiion server will have the external facing IP of security server in it, which the client will not be able to connect to since it is in VPN (part of internal network). Follow all of the steps in this document and watch the video for assistance. Well done, I'm happy that its working for you now.
